Togbe Afrika to host homecoming concert in Dzodze-Penyi

Veteran Ghanaian hiplife musician Togbe Afrika is scheduled to perform a homecoming concert on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Infinity Stars Hotel in Dzodze-Penyi. The event marks his return to the music scene after nearly two decades away from active performance.

The concert will feature performances by Ghanaian artiste Enam and rapper Jah Phinga, alongside other emerging regional talents. Togbe Afrika, known for hits such as ‘Danye Sidzima’ and the gospel track ‘Menyabe Awoenam’, stated that the choice of location is a return to his roots where he was raised and educated.

Beyond the musical performances, the event aims to serve as a platform for youth empowerment and community engagement. Togbe Afrika intends to use the gathering to discuss education, entrepreneurship, and international opportunities, including scholarships in Indonesia, where he serves as Honorary Consul. He also plans to provide mentorship to new musicians through ROIS Music Productions.
