TOGG undergoes potential ownership restructuring as Vestel and Anadolu Grubu negotiate share sales
Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer TOGG is undergoing a significant ownership restructuring. According to reports from Reuters, founding partners Vestel Elektronik and Anadolu Grubu Holding are in negotiations to sell their combined 46% stake in the company. The shares are expected to be acquired by Turkcell and the Turkey Wealth Fund (TVF), with Turkcell potentially increasing its existing shareholding.
Following these reports, Vestel, Anadolu Grubu, and Turkcell issued statements to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), confirming that while discussions are ongoing, no binding agreement or final decision has been reached.
This potential shift in ownership comes as TOGG reports improving financial performance and rising sales. In the first seven months of 2026, TOGG sold 25,848 units, representing a 30% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Additionally, the company's operating losses in the first half of 2026 have significantly decreased compared to the previous year.
In a separate development, TOGG Chairman Fuat Tosyalı shared details regarding the upcoming T6X model. Designed as a more compact and affordable B-segment vehicle compared to the T10X and T10F, the T6X is expected to begin the pre-order process in June 2027, with deliveries scheduled to start at the end of that month.
