Togo receives development support from UN and CDK Group
Various international organizations and private entities are intensifying development efforts in Togo. The United Nations (UN) system has dedicated nearly $50 million to interventions in 2025, impacting approximately 1.2 million people. Key UN priorities include strengthening childhood vaccination coverage through catch-up sessions and improving youth employment by enhancing access to training, resources, and digital opportunities, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
In the education sector, CDK Group is supporting the Ligue Togolaise pour la Protection de l’Enfance (LTPE) to reduce social inequalities. Through the ‘Education for All’ initiative, pedagogical materials—including geometric sets, erasers, and chalk—are being distributed to over one hundred public schools to improve learning conditions for vulnerable children. Additionally, the Agence française de développement (AFD) continues to fund sectors such as professional training, water access, and electrification.
