Togolese National Police launch nationwide open house events

The Togolese National Police has launched a three-day open house initiative running from October 6 to October 8, 2026, across Lomé and several regional centers including Kpalimé, Atakpamé, Tsévié, Sokodé, Kara, and Dapaong.

The program aims to strengthen the bond of trust between the police and the public by offering transparency regarding the institution's missions, organization, and recruitment processes. Visitors can explore exhibits on the history of the police, various units, and professional roles within the force.

In addition to educational displays, the event provides direct administrative services. Citizens can access expedited processing for national identity cards, with an announced turnaround time of 72 hours, as well as document legalization services. The initiative also includes awareness sessions on topics such as cybercrime, road safety, and gender-based violence.
