Tohmo launched as new European private EV charging brand

ChargeGuru and Zeplug have merged their operations under a single European brand, Tohmo. The new entity will market charging solutions for residential communities, single-family homes, businesses, and fleets across Europe.

Tohmo operates in six countries—Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom—with over 100,000 charging points already installed. The rebranding follows the initial integration of the two companies announced in November 2023, aiming to combine expertise in installation, financing, operation, and maintenance.

The move comes amid significant growth in the European electric vehicle market. According to ACEA data from the first half of 2026, fully electric vehicles accounted for 20.7% of new car registrations in the European Union, up from 15.6% during the same period in 2025.
