Tokat implements ‘Archery is My Sport’ project for youth

The ‘Archery is My Sport’ project, initiated by the Okçular Vakfı under the auspices of the Istanbul Governorship, has expanded to Tokat. A cooperation protocol was signed to introduce children and youth to both traditional Turkish archery and Olympic archery.

The project aims to reach 600 students across 16 schools in seven districts, including the central district of Tokat. Specifically, 10 schools will focus on traditional Turkish archery, while six schools will provide Olympic archery training. The initiative seeks to preserve traditional sports and support the physical and social development of young people.

Additionally, the Güneşli Çocuk Akademisi was opened under the Tokat Provincial Mufti's office to provide religious education to children aged 4 to 6.
