Tokat Municipality launches 24/7 digital coordination center
Tokat Municipality is establishing a new Coordination Center to implement smart city applications and digitalize urban management. The center, located in the Technical Units Construction area, will provide 24/7 monitoring and coordination for various municipal services.
The digital infrastructure will allow for the continuous tracking of traffic flow, intersections, drinking water systems, security systems, and the Cemetery Information System. During winter months, the center will also coordinate snow removal operations and vehicle deployments.
Beyond routine services, the center is designed to play a strategic role in disaster and emergency management. By analyzing real-time data from across the city, the municipality aims to accelerate response times by directing teams and resources to affected areas more efficiently. Tokat Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu stated that the center provides a strong infrastructure to manage processes ranging from traffic to drinking water, ensuring the city is prepared for potential disasters.
