Tokić to acquire Slovenian Matik to expand commercial vehicle segment
Automotive parts and equipment distributor Tokić has signed a binding agreement to acquire all shares of the Slovenian company SAG SLO, which operates under the Matik brand. The transaction value has not been disclosed and is subject to necessary regulatory approvals.
Matik is a well-established player in the Slovenian market, particularly strong in the distribution of spare parts for commercial vehicles, trucks, and buses. The company operates through business units in Ljubljana, Maribor, and Koper and has been active in the region for three decades. According to revised financial data for 2025, SAG SLO reported revenues of 7.2 million euros and employed 28 people.
Currently owned by the international Swiss Automotive Group, the acquisition represents a strategic expansion for Tokić in Slovenia, where it already maintains a presence through the company Bartog. Ivan Šantorić, President of the Management Board at Tokić, stated that the acquisition is a natural continuation of their growth and offers strong complementarity, especially within the commercial vehicle segment.
