TOKİ to hold lottery for Istanbul social rental housing in October
The application process for TOKİ’s social rental housing project in Istanbul has concluded. Following the application period that ran from September 14 to September 25, authorities have begun reviewing candidates to ensure they meet specific eligibility criteria, including household income, property ownership, and residency status.
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum announced that the first phase of the project will involve a lottery draw for 1,071 housing units. This lottery is scheduled to take place in October, after which the keys will be delivered to the successful applicants. Rental prices for these social housing units are expected to start from 10,000 TL. The project aims to support the housing needs of low and middle-income citizens.
