Tokio and El Coatí secure victories in Pre-Federal basketball

In the second round of the Pre-Federal basketball tournament, Tokio secured a decisive 97-62 victory over Oberá Tenis Club (OTC) in Posadas. Tokio maintained control throughout the match, leading 44-22 at halftime. Franco Fragozo led the scoring with 30 points. Before the game, the Japanese community held a tribute for the late sports leader Jorge Rokuro Yamaguchi.

In another matchup, El Coatí achieved an upset victory against Mitre in Posadas, winning 71-69. Although Mitre led at halftime, El Coatí utilized effective perimeter shooting in the third quarter to take the lead and secure the win.
