Tokio Hotel members to host Wetten, dass..? comeback and feature in new documentary

Bill and Tom Kaulitz are set to host the comeback of the ZDF show ‘Wetten, dass..?’ on December 5, 2026. The announcement has drawn significant attention, with the broadcaster reporting a record-breaking 250,000 ticket requests. However, show creator Frank Elstner has urged caution regarding the casting, stating that while the twins are world stars, it remains to be seen if the new hosting arrangement will be successful.

In addition to the television appearance, ZDF will air a three-part documentary titled ‘Tokio Hotel – Gegen alle Regeln’ starting November 19, 2026. The documentary utilizes previously unreleased archival footage to trace the 25-year history of the band, featuring members Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, and Gustav Schäfer. The production covers their journey from students in Magdeburg to international stardom, including insights into their upcoming 2026 anniversary tour.
