Tokio Marine and MAG Seguros receive major Brazilian industry honors

The Brazilian insurance sector has received notable recognition in both professional leadership and workplace excellence. Rosangela Spak, Commercial Life Superintendent at Tokio Marine Seguradora, was named ‘Insurance Woman of the Year’ at the 50th CVG-RJ Destaques do Ano awards held in Rio de Janeiro.

Spak, who has spent 17 years at Tokio Marine, was recognized for her efforts in promoting life insurance as a tool for financial planning and income protection throughout a consumer's life. The award, often referred to as the ‘Oscar of Insurance,’ is determined by industry professionals.

In corporate culture rankings, MAG Seguros secured first place among large companies in the 2026 Great Place to Work (GPTW) Brazil ranking. Tokio Marine Seguradora followed in third place within the same category, which includes companies with 1,000 to 9,999 employees. MAG Seguros also debuted in the top 50 large companies to work for in Latin America.
