Tokiwa Kogyo to hold joint community ceremony and disaster drill

Tokiwa Kogyo, a general construction company based in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, will hold a joint ceremony and disaster drill with local residents of Niitsu-cho on September 26.

The event includes an informal job offer ceremony for three new graduates scheduled to join the company in April 2027. By involving local residents and the neighborhood association president, the company aims to instill a sense of community responsibility in its new employees.

Simultaneously, the company will conduct a joint disaster drill to strengthen local resilience and reinforce a disaster cooperation agreement signed in March 2024. The drill will feature demonstrations of using the company's headquarters, 'Toki Port,' as an emergency shelter, including access to well water, AED training, fire extinguishing practice, and utilizing solar power and electric vehicles for emergency electricity supply.
