Tokopedia and TikTok Shop strengthen #BeliLokal ecosystem for MSMEs

Tokopedia and TikTok Shop are strengthening their #BeliLokal ecosystem to support Indonesian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in increasing their capacity and competitiveness. The initiative has evolved from a campaign into an ‘always-on ecosystem’ designed to assist local businesses through various stages of development.

Support provided through the program includes capacity building, business legality assistance—such as Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and Intellectual Property Rights (HKI)—and the utilization of Discovery Commerce. The program also fosters collaboration between entrepreneurs, creators, communities, and partners from both the public and private sectors.

Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Maman Abdurrahman emphasized that true empowerment requires more than just market access; it necessitates mentorship, capacity building, and networking opportunities. This collaborative approach between the government and the private sector aims to prepare Indonesian MSMEs for the digital era.
