Tokyo and Kyoto hold outdoor film screenings on Aug 22, 2026

On August 22, 2026, Toyosu Park in Tokyo will host a free outdoor screening of the animated movie "Madagascar" as part of the "TOYOSU MOVIE NIGHT 2026" series. The event includes a ticket‑making workshop, performances and food‑truck vendors, and runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (film starts at 6:30 p.m.).

The same day, Kyoto City’s "Box‑less Cinema Forest Theater" project will present the live‑action film "Jurassic World" in the mountain‑forest park of Yamamura Urban Exchange.
