Tokyo Announces Major 2026 Halloween Events

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026 will be held from October 30 to November 1 in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro district. The three‑day event includes Halloween day for the first time in five years and features popular cosplayer Enako as a special guest, returning after seven years. Organisers plan a cosplay runway, a parent‑child Halloween activity, and a parade with about 400 participants walking the main streets. Tickets go on sale on September 4 and the festival is run by a committee that includes Dwango, Animate, Hacosta, Sunshine City and the Toshima‑ku ward.

Separately, the MASKED HALLOWEEN 2026 music series will run from October 25 to November 1 at Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure. The opening night’s “Charisma Music Room” will showcase vocalists 来夢 (キズ) and 咲 (甘い暴力) in a seated performance focused on singing. The eight‑day program features different concepts each day, with ticket prices ranging from ¥8,000 for general admission to ¥14,000 for VIP passes.
