Tokyo Arts and Space to host TOKAS Project Vol. 9 exhibition

Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) will host the ninth edition of the TOKAS Project, titled ‘Re-enactment of Being,’ from October 3 to November 8, 2026. The exhibition commemorates the 20th anniversary of cultural exchange between TOKAS and partner institutions in Seoul.

The program features five artists from Japan and South Korea who explore the essence of life through various mediums, including sculpture, digital media, and performance. Participating artists include Arata Mino, who examines historical memory and war; Dohee Kim, who explores biological connections; Minha Park, who investigates the intersection of humanity and technology; Jae Pil Eun, who performs gendered identities; and Donghee Koo, who addresses social norms.

In addition to the main exhibition at TOKAS Hongo, the event will include artist talks, live performances, and a special lecture on the contemporary South Korean art scene held at the Korean Cultural Center in Tokyo.
