Tokyo Butaman and Yomiuri Giants announce limited-edition food collaboration

Tokyo Butaman is launching a limited-time collaboration with the Yomiuri Giants baseball team starting September 1, 2026. The collaboration features two new types of steamed buns, named ‘Tokyo Yomiuri Man,’ designed to reflect the team’s orange and black colors.

The ‘Orange’ Curry Bun features a savory filling of minced pork, beef, and sautéed onions mixed with curry, enriched with butter, cream, and mozzarella cheese. The ‘Black’ Chocolate Bun is a dessert-style offering containing 70% cacao chocolate paired with a rich custard made from Hokkaido Tokachi whipped cream and eggs.

Products will be available as chilled items at various Tokyo Butaman locations, including Ebisu, Jiyugaoka, and Shinjuku. Additionally, the buns will be sold at Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 1 and 2, and at Tokyo Dome during Giants home games from September 8 onwards. The launch also includes limited-edition merchandise, such as acrylic keychains featuring the Giants’ mascot, Twill, wearing a bun.
