Tokyo DisneySea celebrates 25th anniversary with new events and attractions

Tokyo DisneySea is celebrating its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century since its grand opening in September 2001 as the world’s first ocean-themed Disney park. The anniversary is highlighted by the “Sparkling Jubilee” event, featuring characters in “Jubilee Blue” attire and the special show “Dance the Globe!” at Waterfront Park.

The park has recently expanded with the addition of its eighth theme port, Fantasy Springs. Additionally, the long-running attraction “Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull” is scheduled to return on November 30 following a hiatus, featuring enhanced projection mapping and updated audio to provide a more immersive experience.

Visitors to the resort area, including the Ikspiari shopping complex, continue to utilize local amenities such as the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel and various dining options like Outback Steakhouse and Red Lobster during their stays.
