Tokyo DisneySea closes Aquatopia attraction after 25 years

The Aquatopia attraction at Tokyo DisneySea has officially closed after 25 years of operation. Located in the Port Discovery area, the trackless water ride featured three-person craft that spun unpredictably across a shallow pool.

To mark the final days, the park offered a special “Get Soaked” version of the experience. Tokyo Disney Resort staff celebrated the closure on social media, sharing farewell messages to the long-running attraction.

The closure is part of broader changes occurring at Tokyo Disney Resort. While no specific replacement for Aquatopia has been announced, concept artwork released previously suggests potential expansions for the Port Discovery area.
