Tokyo Electron and Fujitsu Expand NVIDIA Partnerships for AI‑Driven Semiconductor and Physical AI Solutions
Tokyo Electron announced an expanded collaboration with NVIDIA to integrate the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, NeMo, and the Isaac robotics platform into its Epsira™ digital‑transformation suite. The joint effort will use NVIDIA Omniverse for digital‑twin simulations and aim to automate maintenance, fault diagnosis and yield improvement in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, moving toward autonomous fab operations.
Fujitsu, together with Fanuc, Yaskawa and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, has launched a joint business to explore "physical AI" using NVIDIA’s AI, world‑model, simulation and robotics technologies such as Cosmos, Omniverse and Isaac. The partners plan to build an open, sovereign collaborative‑control platform for use in manufacturing, logistics and healthcare, seeking to address labour shortages, improve productivity and enable robots to act autonomously in real‑world settings.
