Tokyo expands dining scene with new sushi restaurant openings
New sushi establishments have opened in Tokyo, expanding the city's dining options with specialized concepts.
Kyowa Foods has launched its first Tokyo location for the gourmet conveyor-belt sushi brand ‘Sapporo Fish Market 57 Iki-iki Sushi’ at Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu. The restaurant features seafood directly from Hokkaido via a collaboration with Sapporo Seafoods, alongside ingredients sourced from Toyosu Market, such as Date tuna from Kitani Suisan.
In Shinjuku, Billion Foods has opened ‘Sushi-dokoro Ninomiya Shinjuku Honten,’ an Edomae-style sushi restaurant. The establishment offers high-quality sushi, including an omakase course, and is notable for its extended operating hours, serving customers from late night until early morning. To celebrate the opening, the restaurant is running a promotional campaign offering a 15-piece course at a discounted rate through September 30.
