Tokyo facilities announce new collaborations and heatstroke prevention measures

Tokyo Dome's Spa LaQua will host a collaboration event with the popular TV Tokyo drama ‘Sa Do’ from September 1 to September 30, 2026. The event, part of a ‘Well-being Week,’ features special ‘sauna meals’ produced by drama cast members Taizo Harada and Hiroki Miyake, alongside original manga creator Katsuki Tanaka. The collaboration includes a special talk show scheduled for September 20 and the sale of limited-edition original goods.

In a separate development regarding heatstroke prevention, Hamanetsu Co., Ltd. has deployed its ‘telala’ mobile terrace lounges at City Circuit Tokyo Bay in Koto Ward. These compact, air-conditioned units are designed to provide relief in outdoor environments where ground temperatures can exceed 60°C. The mobile design allows for easy relocation via casters, addressing the need for flexible cooling solutions at event venues and sports facilities during extreme heat.
