Tokyo food hack uses Malatang to replicate Hiroshima tsukemen flavor

Due to the scarcity of authentic Hiroshima tsukemen in Tokyo, a culinary method has been proposed to replicate the flavor profile using Malatang from the specialty shop Yang Guofu.

To achieve a taste similar to Hiroshima tsukemen, it is recommended to select a Malatang base with a mild spiciness level (1 to 2) to ensure the heat does not overpower the aroma. The key to replicating the dish lies in adding large quantities of sesame seeds, black vinegar, and nuts to the soup. The combination of sesame, spiciness, and the acidity of the black vinegar aims to mimic the essential flavor synchronization found in traditional Hiroshima tsukemen.
