The Indonesian pavilion, ‘Games From Jakarta’, showcased the rapid growth of Indonesia’s gaming sector, driven by a young population and government focus on digital industry promotion. Featured titles included the farming simulation ‘Moonlit Orchard’ by Skyfy Studio and ‘The Blind Warrior’ by Rizero Studio, which incorporates traditional Silat martial arts movements set in the 1860s.
In the indie competition sector, the ‘Sense of Wonder Night 2026’ (SOWN2026) pitch contest awarded its Grand Prix to Japanese developer Takahiro Miyazawa for the game ‘Kao UFO’. Other notable winners included China’s P.F.J. for ‘Unknot!’.
