Tokyo Horror Tokku!! 2026 event opens with Hollywood guests

The Tokyo Horror Tokku!! 2026 event opened at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall, running from September 11 to 13. The multi-genre horror festival features content spanning film, games, comics, and art.

The opening ceremony featured Hollywood guests including Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong from ‘Terminator 2’, director Joe Dante of ‘Gremlins’, and actor Zach Galligan. The event includes special stages, autograph sessions, and various exhibits, such as a collection of haunted house dolls and props from ‘Gremlins 2’.

As part of the event, the inaugural ‘Japan Horror Game Awards 2026 produced by Hyakushitsu’ was held. ‘Silent Hill f’ received the Grand Prize, recognized for its psychological horror and narrative depth. Other award winners include ‘REANIMAL’ for narrative and direction, and ‘Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Remake’ for art and visual expression.
