Tokyo Hosts Innovation for Cool Earth Forum on Electrostate Transition

Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) are organizing the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF2026) on 8 October in Tokyo. The conference will focus on the transition to an “electrostate” and the role of green‑energy security in the broader Green Transformation (GX). Leaders from industry, academia and government worldwide are invited to discuss low‑carbon power sources, regional energy‑transition pathways and security implications.

Registration is free and must be completed by 15:00 JST on 25 September. The event will be conducted in English with simultaneous Japanese interpretation.
