Tokyo hotels announce 2026 Christmas cake collections

Major Tokyo hotels, Westin Hotel Tokyo and Keio Plaza Hotel, have announced their 2026 Christmas cake and gourmet collections, with reservations beginning October 1.

Westin Hotel Tokyo is launching its ‘Westin Christmas 2026 - Gather in Wonder’ theme. The collection includes 12 varieties, such as two-tier premium cakes like the ‘2-Tier Premium Fraisier’ and ‘2-Tier Premium Shortcake,’ alongside seasonal items like Stollen and traditional Christmas breads. New additions for the season include the ‘Foret Noire’ chocolate and cherry cake and a matcha and chestnut Stollen.

Celebrating its 55th anniversary, Keio Plaza Hotel is offering a 10-item ‘Christmas Cake Collection 2026.’ Highlights include the ‘La Poste du Forêt,’ a limited-edition cake designed to look like a mailbox containing various petit gateaux, and the ‘Écrin de Rouge,’ a chocolate-based cake styled like a jewelry box. The hotel also provides specialized delivery-only options to accommodate customers outside of Tokyo.
