Tokyo International Film Festival's TIFFCOM market to run Oct 28‑30

The 23rd edition of TIFFCOM, the content market affiliated with the Tokyo International Film Festival, will be held from October 28 to 30 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center in Hamamatsucho. The three‑day event will gather film, television and animation content holders, buyers, producers and industry professionals from around the world.

TIFFCOM will feature an expanded Tokyo IP Market – Adaptation & Remake (TIPM) following the successful Japan IP Market held in Cannes, enhanced support for international co‑productions, and conferences on topics such as artificial intelligence and anime. The Tokyo Gap‑Financing Market (TGFM) returns for its seventh edition, with about twenty selected projects expected to participate. Over 700 participants attended the previous IP market, underscoring growing global demand for Japanese audiovisual content.
