Tokyo Metropolitan Government hosts cybersecurity seminars for SMEs

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for its cybersecurity awareness program. As part of the FY2026 initiative, the government is hosting a series of cyber attack response training seminars designed specifically for management-level executives.

The three-hour seminars utilize a three-part structure—“know, experience, and act”—to enhance practical skills. Participants engage in experiential exercises based on real-world cyber attack scenarios, forcing decision-makers to navigate realistic crisis management situations.

Upcoming sessions are scheduled for October 8, October 15, November 10, and November 18. The seminars are free of charge, though participation is limited to approximately 10 people per session on a first-come, first-served basis. The program is operated by Adecco Co., Ltd. under commission from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
