Tokyo National Museum to collaborate with VTuber Jufutei Raden

The Tokyo National Museum has announced a collaboration event with Hololive Production VTuber Jufutei Raden, scheduled to run from January 13 to March 22, 2027. The partnership stems from Raden’s deep interest in Japanese art and her previous contributions to the museum, including support for the crowdfunding campaign to repair the Genji Monogatari folding screens.

During the event, visitors can access special audio guides for the museum’s permanent collection recorded by Raden, participate in mystery-solving games, and view panel displays featuring newly drawn illustrations.

To commemorate the collaboration, original merchandise featuring seven unique illustrations—including themes such as “Museum Princess” and designs inspired by national treasures like the Shakoki-dogu—is available for pre-order via the ClaN MARKET online shop. The merchandise includes acrylic stands, tote bags, and various stationery items.
