Tokyo Revengers anime reveals Mikey's motivations in episode 54

The TV anime series ‘Tokyo Revengers: Three Deities War Arc’ has released a synopsis and preview images for episode 54, titled ‘Give me a hand’.

In this episode, Takemichi plays a video tape left in a time capsule by Mikey. The footage reveals that Mikey struggles with an uncontrollable ‘dark impulse’ that was previously kept in check by individuals such as Shinichiro, Emma, and Baji. Having lost those who could restrain him, Mikey chose to dissolve the Tokyo Manji Gang and distance himself from his comrades to protect them.
