Tokyo Station Hotel celebrates 111th anniversary
The Tokyo Station Hotel, located within the Marunouchi station building of Tokyo Station, marked its 111th anniversary on November 2, 2026. Originally opened in 1915, the hotel is housed in a structure designated as a national important cultural property.
To commemorate the anniversary, the hotel has introduced special experiences, including guided hotel tours led by staff to highlight the architectural design and history of the building. These tours are available through exclusive stay plans and lunch packages.
The hotel, which underwent extensive restoration to return the station building to its original design, continues to operate with a concept of classic luxury. Additionally, the hotel has launched the “Tokyo Station Hotel Forest” initiative in Ofunato, Iwate Prefecture, to support forest maintenance and environmental sustainability.
