Tokyo Station Hotel launches Middle Eastern afternoon tea

Tokyo Station Hotel is hosting a Middle Eastern-themed afternoon tea in its Atrium lounge for November and December. This event is part of a year-long series titled ‘Traveling Afternoon Tea,’ which explores various global food cultures.

In collaboration with the London-based luxury tea brand NEWBY, the menu features savory dishes and sweets inspired by Arab and Persian flavors. The selection includes items such as spiced chicken, tabbouleh salad, pistachio and chocolate mousse, and raspberry verrines. The tea pairings include a specially co-produced original tea called ‘Silk & Steam,’ a Lapsang Souchong base with rose notes, alongside other selections like Persian Rose and Royal Kahwa.

The series is scheduled to conclude in early 2027 with a final theme focused on the United Kingdom.
