Tokyo Tatemono joins logistics and factory development in Thailand

Tokyo Tatemono, through its local subsidiary Tokyo Tatemono (Thailand) Ltd., has joined a joint venture to develop the SCX Logistics Leamchabang 2 project in Chonburi Province, Thailand. The project is a collaboration with SCX Corporation, a subsidiary of the major Thai developer SC Asset Corporation.

This development marks Tokyo Tatemono's first overseas venture into rental factory development. The complex will consist of three buildings with a total floor area of approximately 41,652 square meters. The site is planned to be divided into 40 percent logistics facilities and 60 percent rental factories.

Located near Laem Chabang Port within Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the project aims to meet rising demand from export-oriented manufacturing sectors, such as semiconductors and electric vehicles. To support these industries, both the logistics and factory components will include bonded areas. The project is scheduled for completion in May 2027.
