Tokyo to host social impact and startup events in October 2026
Several upcoming social and business events in Tokyo are set to focus on entrepreneurship, social impact, and generational dialogue in October 2026.
On October 10, the inaugural IMPACT Z 2026 social festival will take place at Shibuya Scramble Hall. The free event aims to bridge the gap between Generation Z and older generations through themed talk sessions. Topics include career paths and entrepreneurship, featuring speakers such as Orwood Inc. CEO Kayo Takahashi and concon Inc. CEO Fuyoshi Takahashi. Another session will explore the social impact of 'fandom' culture, featuring former Nogizaka46 member and psychological counselor Himika Nakamoto.
Separately, on October 7, Kohei Nishiwada, CEO of Asuene Inc., will participate in the IMPACT CHALLENGE OF THE YEAR 2026 at the Impact Startup Summit. This pitch event, organized by the Impact Startup Association in collaboration with Forbes JAPAN, highlights middle-to-late-stage impact startups. Nishiwada is scheduled to present Asuene’s recent business challenges, including global expansion and capital procurement.
