Tokyo University of Information for International Studies to host infection prevention lecture
Tokyo University of Information for International Studies, in cooperation with Chiba City, will host a public lecture titled ‘Infection Prevention You Can Do Starting Today! A Few Little Tips’ on October 2, 2026.
The lecture aims to teach community residents, including those living with young children or the elderly, practical methods for preventing infectious diseases. The session will cover the three principles of prevention: eliminating pathogens, blocking infection routes, and improving host resistance. Participants will also engage in a hands-on handwashing experience.
Led by Associate Professor Reiko Tokita from the Faculty of Nursing, the free workshop will be held at the university's Building 9, 3rd Floor, Practice Room D. Admission is limited to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis via advance reservation.
