Tokyo venues launch Renaissance-themed menus for Louvre exhibition
To commemorate the ‘Louvre Museum Renaissance’ exhibition, various dining and retail establishments in Tokyo are launching special collaboration menus and items from September 9 to December 13, 2026.
At the National Art Center in Roppongi, four onsite restaurants and cafes are offering dishes inspired by Renaissance masterpieces. Highlights include a fish dish inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘La Belle Ferronnière’ at Brasserie Paul Bocuse Musée, a chocolate and fig mousse cake inspired by Michelangelo at Salon de Thé Rond, and a dessert inspired by Albrecht Dürer’s ‘The Hare’ at Café Coquille.
Simultaneously, Tokyo Midtown is hosting the ‘LOUVRE meets TOKYO MIDTOWN’ project. Participating venues include The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, which is serving an afternoon tea inspired by ‘La Belle Ferronnière’, and Pâtisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris. Other offerings include themed sweets from Toraya and seasonal dishes at various Midtown eateries. Visitors presenting exhibition tickets may also access special services at participating shops.
