Tokyo Verdy remains winless after 2-2 draw against Yokohama F. Marinos

Tokyo Verdy extended their winless streak to 11 matches following a 2-2 draw against Yokohama F. Marinos in the 11th round of the J1 League at the National Stadium. The result marks a club-worst start to a season, with the team recording 5 draws and 6 losses.

Yokohama F. Marinos took an early lead through Ryo Miyaichi in the 23rd minute, followed by a second goal from Daiya Tono in the 51st minute. Tokyo Verdy responded in the 73rd minute with a goal from Kanaya Fujimoto. In stoppage time, Tsuyoshi Yamada scored a header to secure the draw for Verdy.

Despite the recent appointment of manager Naoki Soma on October 8, the team has failed to secure a victory in his first three matches. Tokyo Verdy currently sits at the bottom of the league standings.
