Tokyo Wilds to begin XHL season defense against Nagoya Orcas

The Tokyo Wilds ice hockey team is set to begin the XHL 2026-27 season on August 22, 2026, at the Dydo Drico Ice Arena. As the inaugural champions of the league, the team will face Nagoya Orcas in their opening match.

Led by captain Yuki Yamazaki and featuring several new players, the Tokyo Wilds aim to defend their title. The team will compete in a total of 12 league games this season, with six scheduled as home games. Beyond competitive play, the club continues its community engagement efforts in Higashiyamato, Tokyo, through initiatives such as the Wilds School for children and Wilds College for university students.
