Tokyo Yoshimoto comedians to hold talk live event in November

Following a broadcast of the television program ‘Ame-talk!’, a new talk live event titled ‘Reiwa 8 Tokyo Yoshimoto Activity Report – Provisional Chairman Takashi Yoshimura’ has been announced for November 5, 2026, at Lumine the Yoshimoto.

The television special explored the history and internal dynamics of Tokyo-based Yoshimoto comedians, contrasting their perceived lack of cohesion with the more unified structure of Osaka-based comedians. The program featured various performers discussing the challenges of establishing a collective identity within the Tokyo comedy scene.

The upcoming live event will be chaired by Takashi Yoshimura of Heisei Nobushikobushi and will feature several popular comedians, including members of New York, Panther, and Tonikaku Akarui Yasumura. The event aims to serve as the first in a potential series of regular reports regarding the activities of Tokyo Yoshimoto comedians.
