Tokyo's Ikebukuro Sunshine City hosts major cosplay event

The acosta!@池袋サンシャインシティ cosplay gathering took place on June 13‑14 at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The weekend saw a large turnout of cosplayers and photographers despite rainy season weather, with intermittent sunshine creating a rare event‑day break.

Participants showcased outfits from popular titles such as Genshin Impact, NIKKE, Victory Goddess, and the newly released NTE – Neverness to Everness, as well as characters from anime, VTubers and other media. Notable contributors included Miirea’s “2.5‑Dimensional Temptation” ensemble and other celebrated layers featured in photo‑reports.
