Tokyo's New Miso Ramen Shop Opens; Crepe Café Planned in Kawagoe, Saitama
A specialty ramen shop called 麺場 田所商店 (Setagaya Tamazutsumi‑dori branch) opened in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo on 27 June 2026. The restaurant serves only miso ramen, using three regional miso varieties—Hokkaido, Shinshu, Kyushu, Edo‑style and Ise—offering spicy, sweet and rich‑flavored bowls, with optional local toppings and a miso‑milk ice‑cream dessert. The venue includes a parking lot and box‑style seating for families and groups.
Separately, a new crepe and espresso café is slated to open near the historic 時の鐘 (Time Bell) in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. The outlet, tentatively named “クレープとエスプレッソと時の鐘,” will be operated by the brand behind the popular bakery‑café パンとエスプレッソと. Construction is underway in a container‑type building adjacent to 行傳寺, with the exact opening date and menu yet to be announced, but the location is expected to attract tourists and locals alike.
