Tokyo's Nihonbashi‑Yaesu hosts Pokémon Legend Research event

From 9 September to 29 November 2026, Tokyo’s Nihonbashi‑Yaesu district will host the “Pokémon Legend Research” event. Over 100 Pokémon figures will appear across Mitsui Fudosan‑managed sites such as Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, COREDO Muromachi Terrace and Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, including 19 life‑size statues of legendary Pokémon.

The exhibition is free to view, but participants can purchase a 3,300 yen puzzle‑kit to embark on a city‑wide treasure hunt. The kit, created by puzzle‑designer Ryo Matsumaru and his RIDDLER team, guides players through clues hidden at the Pokémon displays. The paid experience also offers exclusive merchandise—bags, fans, key‑chains, mugs and T‑shirts—sold at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu.

The event marks the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise and aims to attract families and fans of all ages to explore the historic‑modern neighbourhood while engaging with the Pokémon world.
