Toledo hospital complex advances integration plan
More than one hundred professionals are participating in the development of the Functional and Space Plan for the integration of the Virgen del Valle and Provincial hospitals with the Major Ambulatory Surgery Unit (UCMA) at the Toledo University Hospital.
Managed by the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM), the process follows the dismissal of an appeal by the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources against the procedure's award. The initiative uses multidisciplinary working groups to analyze care needs, organizational structures, technology, logistics, and patient experience.
The integration aims to identify strengths and areas for improvement across various clinical and structural domains to ensure efficient resource management and care delivery.
