Toledo hosts 19th edition of Night Race this Saturday

The city of Toledo will hold the 19th edition of its Night Race (Carrera Nocturna) this Saturday, featuring two distances of approximately 8.5 kilometers and 5.5 kilometers. A notable change for this year is the new finish line located near the Alcázar in the streets of La Paz and La Unión, providing more space than the previous finish at Plaza de Zocodover.

The event serves a charitable purpose, with proceeds benefiting the Niemann-Pick Foundation, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), and the Maratón Pura Lección de Vida association. Registration has reached 6,700 participants, including 5,000 runners from outside the city.

To accommodate the race, the Toledo City Council and Local Police have implemented a special traffic plan. Residents are advised to limit vehicle use between 20:15 and 21:45. The race begins at 20:30 from the walkway near the bus station, with the first runners expected to arrive at the finish around 21:35.
