Toledo hosts the XLVI extraordinary Llega of the Montes de Toledo

The city of Toledo has hosted the XLVI extraordinary 'Llega' of the Montes de Toledo, marking the return of this cultural and historical celebration to the regional capital after several years.

Toledo Mayor Carlos Velázquez welcomed mayors, councilors, and members of the Montes de Toledo Cultural Association, emphasizing the historical ties between the city and the surrounding region. Concepción Cedillo, president of the Toledo Provincial Council, noted that the event serves to celebrate local culture and heritage while highlighting the municipalities of the Montes de Toledo.

A central theme of this edition was the historical figure of Archbishop Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada. The celebration highlighted his significant role in shaping the territory and his connection to the region, coinciding with the 800th anniversary of the laying of the first stone of the Primada Cathedral.
