Toledo launches environmental education and guided nature programs

The Diputación de Toledo has launched several environmental and nature-based initiatives for the upcoming seasons. The Taxus Educational Nursery has opened reservations for its didactic program for the 2026-2027 school year. This program aims to provide thousands of students with hands-on learning experiences regarding plant conservation, ecology, and biology through observation and experimentation.

Additionally, the province is hosting the 18th edition of the 'Paseos Naturales' program. This initiative offers free guided walking tours through various landscapes in Toledo. The program includes eight different routes scheduled between October 2025 and May 2026, featuring expert guides who provide interpretations of local flora, fauna, geology, and cultural heritage. Participation is free and includes accident insurance, though spots are limited and require advance registration.
