Tolentino hosts second WTA 125 tennis tournament

The second edition of the Delta Motors Tolentino Open, a WTA 125 tennis tournament, is scheduled to take place from September 20 to 27. The event aims to combine professional tennis with cultural and social initiatives to engage the local community and younger audiences.

The program begins on Sunday with a public draw ceremony at the Vaccaj Theatre. Accompanying the tournament is a free exhibition titled ‘Il tennis nel fumetto’ (Tennis in Comics), featuring approximately twenty plates by international artist Giulio De Vita, hosted by the Acca academy.

During the week, tournament participants are scheduled to visit local landmarks, including the Basilica of San Nicola and the Miumor (International Museum of Humor in Art). The event also includes professional training sessions for journalists focused on international sports press relations.
