Tolhuin and Ushuaia students hold first tourism exchange
The Municipality of Tolhuin, through its Secretariat of Tourism and Production, hosted the first Tourism Exchange Day involving students and teachers from the Ramón Alberto Trejo Noel Provincial College in Tolhuin and Los Andes College in Ushuaia.
The educational initiative aimed to strengthen students' training as local hosts by allowing them to practice knowledge regarding territory, the promotion of tourist attractions, and the importance of sharing information about community identity. During the event, delegations visited the Tolhuin Secretariat of Tourism and Production to learn about local trails, natural attractions, and tourism services.
The program also highlighted regional gastronomy, featuring products from local businesses such as Panadería y Confitería La Unión and Alfajores del Fagnano to demonstrate how local production contributes to the area's tourism appeal.
